To measure correctly, position a ruler from one internal base of the lug to the other, perpendicular to the dial, excluding any casing protrusion. Do not confuse this measurement with the strap width itself, which may be slightly narrower to ensure proper passage through the lugs.

For the AM BF model, we recommend a vegetable-tanned alligator strap in cognac or tobacco tones for light dials, or cream-beige calf leather. If you prefer daily versatility, a heavyweight cotton NATO or high-quality vulcanised rubber are balanced choices. The minimalist simplicity of the case demands a strap that does not compete visually, emphasising the elegance of the single hand.

The strap is changed using a spring bar tool to gently push the retention spring and slide the lug away from the attachment point on the case. Position yourself in a well-lit area to avoid losing the small springs. When inserting the new strap, ensure the lugs are completely anchored and the strap does not rotate. If the strap features an additional keeper loop, verify it is adjusted to a tension that prevents slipping on the strap.
