The Portugieser uses a standard spring bar attachment system. Using a spring bar tool, gently insert the tip under the spring bar spring, lift slightly, and slide the strap out of the lug. Repeat on the other side. For installing the new strap, align the strap holes with the lugs and press the spring bar until you hear a security click.
