The IWC Grande Complication IW9270-18, presented in 1990, represents Swiss haute horlogerie at its pinnacle. This platinum case measures 42.20 mm in diameter with a 19 mm lug width. Powered by the exclusive caliber 79091 manual movement, it combines perpetual calendar, year indicator, moonphase, chronograph rattrapante, and minute repeater in a single coherent system. Only 50 examples were produced, each housing 659 components. The caseback features full display for observing the movement's geometry.
