Strap for Big Bang Unico 42 King Gold / Black
Integrated bracelet: measurements, the most common questions, and the way to a made-to-measure strap.
Integrated bracelet
The Hublot Big Bang 441.OX.1180.RX is designed with a bracelet integrated into the case. For a compatible made-to-measure strap, the Casati Milano atelier builds it on your watch.

Frequently asked questions
Can a standard strap be fitted to the Hublot Big Bang 441.OX.1180.RX?
No. The bracelet is integrated into the case with Hublot's proprietary attachment system: a standard strap simply has no way to connect. There is no conventional lug width to work with. The only solution is to build a strap from scratch, directly on the watch.
How does the bespoke strap service work for this Big Bang?
I work on this model exclusively through Casati Milano, by appointment at the atelier in Via XX Settembre 15, Milan. I take the watch to the bench, measure directly from the actual case, and shape the attachments by hand, one at a time. I never work from photographs or measurements provided by the client: every Big Bang has its own geometry, and I need to feel it.
Which leather do I recommend for this model?
For a Big Bang in Red Gold, my choice is matte Mississippi Alligator. Red gold has a strong chromatic warmth, and a glossy leather risks making the wrist feel heavy. Matte alligator holds its own against the case without overwhelming it, and over time it develops a patina that tells a story — something I find far more interesting than a surface that never changes.
How long does a well-made strap last?
A strap built with quality leather and hand-stitched will easily last five to eight years of regular use — sometimes longer. It depends greatly on how it is treated: kept away from prolonged water exposure, allowed to breathe between wearings. Vegetable-tanned leathers, like the Tuscan hide I often use, age in a living way: they darken, soften, and take on the shape of the wrist. That is not wear — it is character, accumulated over time.
What makes the Big Bang different from other sports watches in gold?
The philosophy Biver called "Art of Fusion" is not a slogan — it is a precise structural choice. The case combines materials and languages that normally do not belong together: red gold and technical geometry, traditional watchmaking and industrial design. At the bench, working on a Big Bang, I can see how carefully every component is designed to speak to the others. It is not a watch that accepts generic solutions, and for me, that is exactly where the bespoke work begins.
