Strap for Big Bang Unico 45 Blue Sapphire
Integrated bracelet: measurements, the most common questions, and the way to a made-to-measure strap.
Integrated bracelet
The Hublot Big Bang 411.JL.4809.RT is designed with a bracelet integrated into the case. For a compatible made-to-measure strap, the Casati Milano atelier builds it on your watch.

Frequently asked questions
Can a standard strap be fitted to the Hublot Big Bang 411.JL.4809.RT?
No. The bracelet is integrated directly into the case via a proprietary H-shaped attachment system. A standard strap has no way of connecting — the geometry simply does not allow it. What I do in the atelier is build the strap from scratch, starting from the actual watch, not from a spec sheet.
How does the bespoke strap process work for this Big Bang?
I work by appointment only, at Casati Milano, Via XX Settembre 15, Milan. I bring the watch to the bench, take measurements directly from the case and craft the attachments to the millimetre, respecting the exposed screws and the titanium-resin geometry. There is no template: every piece is built from zero on that specific watch.
Which leather do I recommend for this model?
I prefer matte-finish Mississippi alligator, hand-finished with raw-cut edges. The Big Bang has a strong, industrial character: a glossy or overly formal leather would look out of place. Matte holds the conversation with the resin and titanium without overpowering or yielding. It is the choice I would make for myself.
How long does a well-made strap last?
With ordinary care — keeping it away from prolonged water exposure, letting it dry naturally, conditioning the leather twice a year — I comfortably reach ten years of daily wear. Quality leather does not deteriorate: it transforms. The edges soften, the colour deepens. It is an honest ageing, one that tells the story of time spent on the wrist.
What makes the Big Bang's architecture so distinctive compared to other sports watches?
The Big Bang was born in 2005 with a structure deliberately conceived as composite: resin, titanium and sapphire in the same case, held together by exposed screws that do not hide but become part of the design. It is not an aesthetic detail — it is a precise engineering decision. I have seen many sports watches over the years: few show their own construction with this level of honesty.
