Strap for Big Bang Unico 45 Ceramic / Magic Gold

Not in the conventional sense. The bracelet is integrated into the case and the attachment system is proprietary: a standard strap simply has nothing to connect to. That is why every strap must be made to measure, directly on the watch, in the atelier.

I work exclusively by appointment at <a href="/pages/casati-booking">Casati Milano</a>, at Via XX Settembre 15 in Milan. I bring the watch to the bench, take measurements directly from the case, and build the terminals by hand, one by one, to engage properly with the original release system. There is no other way to do it properly.

I prefer vulcanised black Tuscan leather. The texture holds its own against the technical, bolted character of this case without looking out of place. As an alternative, satin-finish Mississippi Alligator creates a contrast of textures that works very well against the matte ceramic.

With regular care, a hand-crafted leather strap easily lasts five, even eight years. The key is keeping it away from water and letting it breathe: leather should not be worn on the same watch every single day. Over time it moulds to the wrist, and that is the best part.

Hublot combined two materials that technically should not work together: ceramic, extremely hard and matte, and Magic Gold, a gold hardened within the ceramic itself to make it scratch-resistant. The result is a case that shows far fewer signs of wear over the years than classic gold. It is a deliberate technical statement, not a decorative one.
