The SBGE205 features a 20mm lug width. This is the distance between the inner edges of the lugs at the 12 and 6 o'clock positions. The 20mm specification is the standard for 41mm diameter watches and provides access to an extensive selection of aftermarket straps.

For daily versatility, vegetable-tanned calf in cognac tone offers an evolving patina. In warm or tropical climates, or for water sports, Tropic rubber or heavyweight cotton NATO straps reduce swelling and wear risks.

The SBGE205 uses open spring bars. Obtain a spring bar removal tool, position the tip in the groove of the pin, press downward to release the end, and remove the pin completely. Repeat on the opposite lug. Insert the pins into the new strap by reversing the procedure. If uncertain, consulting a professional watchmaker is advisable.
