Alligator leather with vegetable tanning represents the most authoritative choice for this model, as its fine grain naturally harmonizes with the case's satin-finished surfaces and develops a characteristic patina over time. Alternatively, Hermès calf or French leather with natural mordant offers versatility between formal and everyday contexts. For sports use or frequent immersion, an FKM rubber strap provides superior moisture resistance.

Strap replacement requires a dedicated tool (strap remover or small flat-head screwdriver). Place the watch on a soft surface, locate the small side hole on the lug, and gently push inward to release the lug from its seat. Repeat on the other side. Conversely, insert the new lugs into the strap's holes and press firmly until the click of insertion. If you are not experienced, we recommend consulting a professional watchmaker.
