How do I change the strap on my Christiaan van der Klaauw CKPT1124?
Use a spring bar removal tool. Position the forked end beneath the lug and press upward gently to release the spring bar, extract the old strap and insert the new one by aligning the holes. Press until the bar clicks into position.
Can I use an aftermarket strap on this model?
Yes, provided the width is 20 millimetres and quality is certified. Artisanal straps in leather, alligator, shell cordovan or FKM rubber are fully compatible with the CKPT1124.
