This measurement represents the internal distance between the two lugs of the case and determines compatibility with aftermarket straps. The measurement is taken by placing a digital calliper perpendicular to the inner case shoulders. Since the case is stamped in stainless steel in a single dimension, the 20mm lug width remains constant across all models in this series.

The strap is replaced by removing the two spring bars that secure the strap lugs to the case. Use a dedicated spring bar remover tool or a small flathead screwdriver to apply gentle pressure to the internal spring, sliding the bar vertically out of its seat. Once released, the strap disengages. Reverse the procedure to fit the new strap: insert the spring bar into the case lug, pressing the spring until it locks in the final position.
