Straps in vegetable-tanned alligator leather (black, dark brown, or cognac) or rough-grained calf leather are the most appropriate choices. Alternatively, rubber or canvas Cordura straps preserve the Avenger's tactical-military identity. A satin stainless steel deployante buckle is mandatory to visually support the case's mass.

The strap is changed by removing the spring bars that connect the strap to the lugs. Use a dedicated tool to push the bar laterally until it releases. Insert the new strap by aligning the holes to the lugs, then reinsert the spring bar until you hear a click. Verify the strap is firmly secured before wearing the watch.
