The lug width is precisely 20mm. It is measured from the inner left shoulder to the inner right shoulder of the case attachment. Use a digital caliper for verification with ±0.1mm tolerance. Any aftermarket strap declared as 20mm will be compatible with this model.

We recommend straps in vegetable tanned leather on calf base (cognac, dark brown) for aesthetic coherence with German watchmaking tradition. Alternatively, NATO cotton for daily reversibility, or natural rubber if you use the watch in aquatic environments. All our 20mm straps are compatible.

Remove the spring bars at the ansa extremities using a strap removal tool or fine needle. Push towards the centre of the ansa to release the spring, fully extract the bar, then slide out the old strap. Insert the new strap into the ansa, reinsert the spring bar (verify it clicks into position) and repeat on the other side.
