The Lange 1 was introduced in 1994 as the first model of the revival of A. Lange & Söhne after German reunification. It features the manufacture caliber L901.0 hand-wound movement with hour, minute, small seconds, big date, and power reserve indication. The case showcases the characteristic asymmetric layout of the dial with the big date positioned at 2 o'clock.
