Twenty-seven centimeters of 100% recycled polyester, stitched with blue thread on a black background. It’s not an aesthetic compromise — it’s a precise choice, with a point of view.

Military nylon has its own logic: flat, compact, resistant without ostentation. This strap adds a discreet chromatic variable — the blue stitching along the edges — without breaking the sober character of the fabric. It works equally well on a field watch or a dress watch with a less formal character.

The 316L stainless steel buckle and rings are chosen to withstand daily use: no rust, no failures over time. The manufacturing is Italian, with the precision this implies even on a technical material like recycled polyester.

With a thickness of 1.5mm, it remains among the thinnest in the military category: you wear it without feeling it, and this — for those who wear a watch every day — is not a minor detail.

Domande Frequenti

Who does blue stitching suit? I mean, doesn’t it become too vivid on a sober watch?

No, it’s the opposite. Blue stitching isn’t a misstep — it’s a discreet chromatic variable that works precisely because the nylon remains black and compact. It’s a deliberate choice: enough to break uniformity without making the strap showy. On a less formal dress watch you see it, on a field watch you feel it more than you see it. It depends on how you wear the watch, but the point is it’s never off-key.

I have a Seiko with 20mm lug width. This is 20-22, so it should fit. But is recycled nylon soft, or does it stay rigid and difficult to put on?

Military nylon is flat and compact, it doesn’t have the softness of leather. At 1.5mm thickness it’s among the thinnest in the category — it slides easily into the lugs, you won’t find yourself forcing it. The fabric remains technical, but precisely because of this it presents no resistance. It’s a matter of material logic: nylon has its own elasticity, it’s not a rigid tube.

Twenty-seven centimetres total — is it short for me with a large wrist, or is it a size that works for everyone?

At 27cm I can’t tell you if it fits your wrist: it depends on circumference. If you wear other straps and know your measurement, that’s the data to consider. What I can tell you is that the total length is that, Italian craftsmanship precise. Before ordering, measure.

One thing worries me: it’s recycled, is it suitable for daily wear or does it degrade? The 316L buckle won’t rust, but the nylon?

Military nylon was conceived specifically to withstand daily wear — it’s technical, not cotton that wears out. 100% recycled polyester maintains the same properties as virgin nylon: flat, compact, resistant. The buckle and rings are 316L precisely so they don’t fail over time. What can happen are slight chromatic variations — the intrinsic characteristics of the material — but it’s not degradation, it’s natural.

If I wear it daily for six months, will my wrist be worn by the nylon texture or does it stay like new?

Military nylon doesn’t wear like delicate fabric. It stays compact. What happens is daily use — nothing dramatic, but it doesn’t stay pristine like the first day either. It’s the nature of technical material: it doesn’t degrade, but it lives with you. If you need sterile, nylon isn’t the strap for you.
