Military green isn't meant to please everyone. It's a deliberate choice, for those who know what they're wearing on their wrist and why.
This single pass strap is made from 100% recycled polyester yarn — a material that embodies a conscious choice without compromising on durability. The fabric is compact, flat, and resistant. No bulkiness under the watch case, no dangling tail: the strap closes back on itself, the sliding keeper holds the excess, and the wrist remains clean.
Unlike traditional NATO straps, the single pass doesn't layer fabric under the watch case: the watch stays low on the wrist, the buckle remains centered on the underside, and comfort is immediate. And if one of the spring bars were to fail, the single-piece construction still keeps the timepiece on the wrist — a technical detail that discerning collectors know well.
Buckle and loops made of 316L stainless steel: the same alloy used in watchmaking for its corrosion resistance. Made in Italy.

Returns and exchanges
You have 30 days from delivery to request a return or an exchange. The strap must come back as you received it: unworn, in its packaging. Write to info@milanostraps.it with your order number; once the return is accepted, I will send you the return shipping label. Made-to-measure straps cannot be returned: they are cut for your watch. Milanese Craftsmanship
Every strap is a one-off piece, cut and stitched by hand in our Milan atelier. Saddle stitching gives superior strength, while the edges are finished with seven coats of dye applied by brush, for a longevity that outlasts passing trends.

Can this NATO strap be worn wet?
Yes. It is an eco friendly strap made of Newlife® recycled polyester, obtained from plastic bottles, Made in Italy supply chain. Water will not damage it.
What sizes are available?
20 mm and 22 mm. Total length 27 cm, thickness 1.5 mm. Check your watch's lug width before choosing.
How does it close, being single pass?
It does not pass twice under the case like the classic NATO. A single layer, with the sliding keeper holding the excess fabric in place. The watch sits low on the wrist.
Is the buckle made of steel?
Yes, 316L stainless steel, buckle and keepers. The same alloy used in watchmaking for its corrosion resistance.
Can I have traditional spring bars instead of the quick release?
Yes, this can be done. Same price, about one extra week of waiting time. Please let me know which size, 20 mm or 22 mm, and I will prepare it that way.
