Recycled polyester is not a compromise. It is a precise technical choice: the same strength as ballistic nylon, reduced weight, and a clear conscience.

This royal blue NATO strap with red edges is made from 100% recycled yarns, processed in Italy with the same care given to the finest materials. The color is bold, direct—an accent that dialogues with light, sporty dials, or with any watch that isn't afraid to be noticed. The 316L stainless steel buckle and rings withstand daily use without oxidizing or giving way.

At 1.5mm thick, it slides smoothly under the lugs. At 27cm long, it adapts to different wrists without adjustments. No snap buckle, no mechanism—just the functional simplicity of the NATO in its most honest format.

Made in Italy.

COSA ABBIAMO FATTO

Domande Frequenti

Does recycled polyester really hold up like ballistic nylon, or is it one of those green compromises that ends up tearing?

It’s no compromise. Recycled polyester has the same resistance as ballistic nylon — it’s a precise technical choice. The difference is that it weighs less and you don’t carry around the feeling of having ignored what comes after. You’ll notice it especially in daily wear: less weight on the wrist, same reliability. And since it has gone through the same Italian craftsmanship we use for our most important materials, we’re not talking about some recycled offcut.

How do I adjust it to my wrist? Is there a buckle that fastens, or do I have to make do with the holes?

It’s a pure NATO: no quick-release buckle, no mechanisms. Functional simplicity. The 27cm total length is designed to fit a range of wrist sizes — you pass the strap under the lugs and secure it as you prefer, without needing pre-set holes. For those familiar with NATOs, it’s the most honest solution possible. For those who have never used one, it takes three minutes of practice and then you no longer think about it.

Won’t the buckle and rings oxidise? I care that they hold up at least as well as the rest of the strap.

316L stainless steel. It’s what resists oxidation even in the most aggressive environments — sweat, salt water, humidity. It’s not a step down from the strap material: it’s built to last as long as it does, with no surprises.

Which watch does the royal blue with red edges look good on, or does it work with anything?

The colour is bold, not timid — it dialogues naturally with light and sporty dials. If your watch isn’t afraid to be noticed, the strap supports it. If instead you wear a more discreet instrument, the royal blue NATO becomes the accent that transforms it. It depends on how you intend to use it: it isn’t neutral, it’s designed for those who already know what they want from their wrist.

How thick is it compared to a leather strap? I’d like to understand the profile under the lugs.

1.5mm — the lightweight profile that a NATO naturally maintains. It slides cleanly under the lugs without bulk. It isn’t the volume of a natural leather, it’s something else: less weight, visually leaner, functional. If you love the substantial elegance of a cordovan or shell strap, this is its conceptual opposite.
