WHAT WE DID
Milano Straps has always been mindful of sustainability and of the ways in which a luxury product should be made and distributed, and has decided, in its own small way, to help grow an Eco-Luxury Positive economy.
We have recently launched the MSLabStraps line, a new series of eco-friendly NATO fabric straps made by recycling post-consumer plastic bottles collected in Northern Italy.
With one recycled plastic bottle, two MSLabStraps NATO straps are made.
Through a mechanical, not chemical, recycling process, certified 100% Made in Italy along its entire fully traceable supply chain, the plastic in the bottles is shredded and turned into high-quality, high-performance recycled polyester yarns for textile use.
Producing 1 kg of Newlife®, compared with the same quantity of virgin polymer, allows a 60% reduction in energy consumption, a 32% reduction in CO2 emissions and a 94% reduction in water use

Can I get it wet?
Yes. This is an eco friendly strap, made with Newlife® recycled polyester, from recycled plastic bottles, Made in Italy supply chain. It withstands water and sweat without any issue.
Is the black glossy or matte?
Flat and compact. No shine, no gloss.
What does the two-piece military cut mean in practice?
Two separate strips that pass under the case, not a single loop as in the classic NATO. A solid structure with an essential profile.
Can I have traditional spring bars instead of the quick release?
Yes, this can be made to order. Same price, about a week's wait. Please let me know which size, 20mm x 18mm or 22mm x 20mm.
