Handmade Straps
Military Strap Military Eco Green - Orange | Single Pass
€52,00
A piece of Cordura does not die. It is recycled, re-woven, and returns to the wrist with a specific function. This military strap made from 100% recycled polyester is born from recovered material and arrives on the wrist with the same firmness as any premium technical textile.
The design is single pass: a single pass, no overlap under the case, no artificial rise from the wrist. Those familiar with NATOs know exactly what we're talking about — and also know what changes. The buckle centers under the wrist, the tail end slips into the movable keeper and disappears. No bulk, no clutter.
The matte military green and contrasting orange don't try to please everyone. It's a precise, recognizable combination, suitable for sports cases and steel casebacks. On the dark dial of a Tudor Black Bay or any 20-22mm fieldwatch, the contrast works consistently.
The 316L steel buckle and loops guarantee corrosion resistance without adding unnecessary weight. The single pass also offers passive protection: if a spring bar fails, the strap does not let the watch drop.

The joy of little things
Changing your strap should be as simple as changing your shoes. With us, it is.
Every strap has integrated quick-release spring bars: swap it in one gesture, no tools, no risk of scratching the lugs. The same watch shifts mood with the moment.

ARTIGIANATO ITALIANO
Manifattura Milanese

Domande Frequenti
Does this single pass really keep the watch on the wrist if a spring bar breaks, or is it just marketing?
It is not marketing. In a single pass, the strap goes only once through the lugs of the case — there is no overlap underneath. If a spring bar fails, the single keeper acts as passive containment and the watch does not fall. With a classic NATO double-pass, if a bar gives way, you do not have this protection. It is a detail that concretely changes the way you wear it.
At 27 cm total, how does it work for large wrists? How much excess is there once I have fastened it?
The total length is 27 cm. In the single pass, the tail tucks into the floating keeper once fastened and disappears — it does not add bulk under the case as it would on a traditional NATO. If you have a large wrist, the excess depends on how tight you like to wear your watch. I recommend measuring your wrist and considering that in the single pass you do not have the double thickness of a NATO.
Is it truly 100% recycled polyester, or is there a blend with new material?
It is 100% recycled polyester. It is not a blend. The material is recovered, rewoven, and arrives with the same firmness as a first-choice technical nylon. Cordura does not die — it is recycled and returns to the wrist with the same function.
On what type of watch does it look right? Should I put it on a sub or on a fieldwatch?
The matte military green and the contrasting orange do not try to go everywhere. They work coherently on dark dials — a Tudor Black Bay for example, or any 20-22mm watch with a fieldwatch vocation and a sporty case. On a luminous dial or a vintage case it might not have the same balance. Evaluate your watch first.
Does 316L steel really hold up in the sea, or do I still have to rinse it afterwards?
316L steel resists corrosion — it is superior to 304 for saline environments. But it is not ‘maintenance-free’. Rinsing after salt water remains the responsible step. 316L gives you the assurance that the buckle and rings will not degrade easily, but it does not eliminate the need for care.
