A single piece of leather slides under the case and wraps around the wrist seamlessly. This is the logic of the military strap: no joints, no weak points. Even if one of the spring bars were to fail, the strap remains in place.
The leather is black alligator, crafted in Italy with contrasting blue stitching — a detail that doesn't seek attention, but gets it. The thickness is just 1mm: you forget it's on your wrist after the first few minutes. The design originated from the specifications of the British Ministry of Defence, conceived for those who cannot afford anything to loosen at the wrong moment.
As with all alligator leather, each piece is unique: the scales, grain, and color nuances vary slightly from piece to piece. This is not a defect — it is the nature of the material.

What size is this strap?
20 mm lug width, 25.5 cm total length. This is the only size available for this model.
Why is it built as a single piece?
The leather runs under the case without any joins. If a spring bar fails, the strap still stays on the wrist. This is the whole point of the NATO.
Can it be wet?
Our eco friendly straps can, as they are made of Newlife® recycled polyester, sourced from plastic bottles, Made in Italy supply chain: water does not damage them. This model, however, is made of alligator leather, so please let me know if you mean this piece or another strap and I will answer precisely.
Is every piece the same?
No. Alligator leather has scales and grain that vary from piece to piece. This is not a defect, it is the nature of the material.
Doesn't the thickness make it too stiff?
It is one millimetre thick. After the first few minutes on the wrist, you won't notice it anymore.
