The Heritage

The Constellation Quartz 22.5 My Choice combines Omega's iconic design with stainless steel, yellow gold, and mother-of-pearl elements. This 22.5mm case features the signature integrated lugs and distinctive Griffes on the bezel. The quartz movement delivers precision in a compact, elegant instrument that reflects Omega's heritage since 1952.
Made to Measure

The strap for this watch is made to measure

On the Omega Constellation the bracelet is drawn as part of the case: no catalogue strap will fit. In the atelier we take the measurements on the watch itself and build the strap on the piece — that is the work of Casati Milano.

FAQ

Can you fit a standard strap on the Omega Constellation 1361.71.00?

No. The bracelet is integrated into the case — the lug attachment is proprietary and a conventional strap won't fit. For a strap on this Constellation, I build the solution directly at the workbench, measuring each watch individually.

How does the bespoke strap process work for the Constellation?

I meet you at Casati Milano, by appointment only. I measure directly from the case, note the geometry of the griffes and the depth of the lugs. From there I construct the strap that speaks to the watch, not the other way round.

What leather do you recommend for this Omega?

I favour fine-grained alligator or vegetable-tanned calf — something that holds up to daily wear but doesn't compete with the lustre of mother-of-pearl and the warmth of the gold. The Constellation is tailored: the leather must serve, not be noticed.

How long does a well-made strap last?

With regular wear and minimal care — a light clean now and then, nothing more — a solid leather strap lasts between four and seven years. And it ages well: patina isn't decay, it's the memory of the watch you've worn.

Why does the Constellation have those four griffes on the bezel?

They originated in 1952 as precision elements — they helped centre the bezel in the case. Over time they became the signature of the model. On a 1361.71.00, that geometry is tight: it demands millimetre-precision when designing the strap.

The next step

The right strap isn’t chosen. It is built, together.

From the atelier appointment to delivery, every step is made for those who know that things done well take time. Rare leathers, one piece at a time, eighteen months of warranty.
