The Heritage
The strap for this watch is made to measure
On the Omega Constellation the bracelet is drawn as part of the case: no catalogue strap will fit. In the atelier we take the measurements on the watch itself and build the strap on the piece — that is the work of Casati Milano.

Can you fit a standard strap to the Omega Constellation 123.15.24.60.51.002?
No. The bracelet is integrated into the case — the lugs aren't standard and a commercial strap simply won't attach. I've seen too many owners try improvised solutions. The only serious option is to have a custom strap built directly to the shape of your case.
How does the custom strap process work for this model?
I work exclusively at Casati Milano, by appointment only. I measure your case directly, study how the original bracelet behaves, and build the strap so it integrates perfectly with those proprietary lugs. It's not a quick operation, but it's the only one that respects the watch.
Which leather would you recommend for the Constellation?
I prefer Mississippi alligator or naturally aged Barenia. This model has an elegant yet sporty character — it means business. Leather that ages well, that develops patina over time, accompanies you without fuss. Fine leathers would be wasted here; what's needed is resilience and dignity.
How long does a well-made strap last?
A strap built with noble leather and correct stitching easily lasts 5-7 years of daily wear, and longer still with proper care. The leather wears, yes, but ages with character. Avoid standing moisture, clean it occasionally with a slightly damp cloth. If you treat it as it deserves, it won't let you down.
Why is the integrated bracelet with the griffes so important to the Constellation?
The four griffes — the claws embracing the sapphire crystal — have defined this watch since 1952. They're not decorative detail: they're architecture. When a strap doesn't respect this geometry, the aesthetic balance of the entire case breaks. That's why I insist on recreating them in every custom piece.
The next step
The right strap isn’t chosen. It is built, together.
From the atelier appointment to delivery, every step is made for those who know that things done well take time. Rare leathers, one piece at a time, eighteen months of warranty.
