The strap for this watch is made to measure
On the Ikepod Duopod the bracelet is drawn as part of the case: no catalogue strap will fit. In the atelier we take the measurements on the watch itself and build the strap on the piece — that is the work of Casati Milano.

Can you fit a standard strap to the Ikepod Duopod 003?
No, the bracelet is integrated into the case. The lug attachment is proprietary — a standard off-the-shelf strap won't attach. For this model I craft a custom piece directly in the workshop, shaping the lugs to the specific geometry of your case.
How does the bespoke strap process work for the Duopod?
I meet you at Casati Milano, by appointment. I take measurements directly from your case, study the proprietary attachments and build the strap piece by piece. It's the only proper way.
Which leather would you recommend for this watch?
I prefer Vegetable-Tanned Tuscan leather or Barenia. The Duopod has an organic, biomorphic character — leather that ages naturally, develops patina, speaks to that fluid silhouette Newson designed. The leather adapts to your wrist as the case adapts through time.
How long does a well-made strap last?
That depends on wear and care. A handcrafted strap lasts 8-12 years of regular use, sometimes longer. Vegetable-tanned leather ages beautifully — it becomes softer, more refined. It doesn't die: it transforms. Just keep it away from dry heat and salt water.
Why is a bespoke strap the right choice for this model?
Because the Duopod case is a sculpture. Non-standard lugs demand respect for the original design. Anyone who owns this watch already knows it breaks the rules — the strap must listen to that design freedom, not fight it.
