Strap for Duopod White Lines
Integrated bracelet: measurements, the most common questions, and the way to a made-to-measure strap.
Integrated bracelet
The Ikepod Duopod 016 is designed with a bracelet integrated into the case. For a compatible made-to-measure strap, the Casati Milano atelier builds it on your watch.

Frequently asked questions
Can you fit a standard strap on the Ikepod Duopod 016?
No. The bracelet is integrated into the case—there's no standard lug where you'd attach a strap. Newson designed it as one unified piece. If you want to change the bracelet, I craft one bespoke directly for your watch, respecting every curve of the case.
How does the bespoke strap work for the Duopod?
You visit the atelier. I study the case directly on your wrist, measure the lugs, and hand-model the strap so it integrates perfectly with the Duopod's geometry. It's the only approach that makes sense. Book a visit to Casati Milano.
Which leather do you recommend for this watch?
I favour vegetable-tanned leather, sturdy and with a sporty character. The Duopod has that organic tension, almost sculptural—it deserves leather that ages with personality, patinas over time and tells its own story. It's a watch you wear, not display.
How long does a well-made strap last?
It depends on wear. With care—not submerging it repeatedly in water, drying it if wet—good leather holds five, six years, sometimes longer. The leather changes colour, softens, acquires history. When needed, I restore it or remake it. It's not disposable.
Why is Newson's Duopod so different from other sports watches?
In 1994, Newson rejected canonical forms. The case is sculptural, biomorphic—every curve speaks. It's not design for design's sake: function and geometry find each other. That's why the strap cannot be an accessory, but must be part of the watch's body itself.
The next step
The right strap isn't chosen. It is built, together.
From the atelier appointment to delivery, every step is made for those who know that things done well take time. Rare leathers, one piece at a time, eighteen months of warranty.
