Every leather has a story.
A sensory study of the world’s finest raw materials
There are no leathers that are better in absolute terms. There are leathers that are right for the right watch, for the right wrist, for the use you make of them. I’ve worked with all these leathers. What you read here is what I’ve learned by touching them, cutting them, stitching them.
The strap you wear every day tells a precise choice — not only of style, but of material. Alligator leather is not calf. Cordovan is not suede. Every leather has a different fibre structure, a different way of ageing, a context where it shines and one where it’s out of place.
This catalogue gathers every leather I use in the atelier. For each I’ve written what I really know — not what you read on suppliers’ sites. Origin, tannage, character, pairings. What you need to choose well.
