No. The bracelet is integrated directly into the case with a proprietary attachment: no standard strap will connect. It is a deliberate architectural choice by Vacheron Constantin, not something that can be worked around with adapters. At the atelier I build the strap bespoke, working on the watch itself.

It always starts with an appointment at <a href="/pages/casati-booking">Casati Milano</a>, at Via XX Settembre 15 in Milan. I bring the watch to the bench, study the geometry of the attachment and take every measurement directly from the case. I do not work from data sheets or photographs: the fit must be exact, and that precision only comes with the piece in hand.

For a watch with this character — sporting at heart, elegant in form — I almost always choose Mississippi alligator. Its grain structure holds up well on an active wrist, while retaining a visual presence worthy of the case. As an alternative, Barenia develops a patina over time that becomes part of the watch's own story.

With quality leather and sound construction, five or six years of regular wear is a reasonable expectation. Much depends on how the strap is treated: kept away from water, occasionally conditioned with suitable products, allowed to breathe. Alligator and Barenia do not deteriorate — they change, and often improve.

It means Vacheron Constantin has been active since 1755, without interruption. That is not a marketing detail: it means certain technical and formal solutions have been refined across generations of watchmakers.
