Strap for Overseas Date Stainless Steel / Black
Integrated bracelet: measurements, the most common questions, and the way to a made-to-measure strap.
Integrated bracelet
The Vacheron Constantin Overseas 4520V/210A-B483 is designed with a bracelet integrated into the case. For a compatible made-to-measure strap, the Casati Milano atelier builds it on your watch.

Frequently asked questions
Can a standard strap be fitted to the Vacheron Constantin Overseas 4520V/210A-B483?
No. The bracelet is integrated directly into the case with a proprietary Maltese Cross attachment: a standard strap simply will not connect. The only viable option is to have a strap made to measure, built around the actual geometry of the original attachment. That is what I do in the atelier, every single time.
How does the bespoke strap process work for this model?
I work strictly by appointment at Casati Milano, Via XX Settembre 15, Milan. I bring the watch to the bench, study the curves of the attachment and take every measurement directly from the case. I do not work from photographs or data sheets: the Overseas has too specific a geometry to allow any approximation.
Which leather would I recommend for this Overseas?
For a watch with this sportive yet elegant character, I prefer natural Barenia: it ages with wear, develops its own patina and works equally well with a suit or casual dress. Alternatively, a deep blue Swift holds up well to the dynamic character of the case without pushing too formal a register.
How long does a well-made strap last?
With quality leather and solid craftsmanship, I count on five to eight years of regular wear. A great deal depends on care: keeping leather away from water and conditioning it occasionally makes an enormous difference. A good Barenia improves with time — the patina that forms is part of the strap, not a flaw.
What sets the Overseas apart from other high-end sport watches?
The Overseas comes from a Maison with nearly three centuries of history, yet its hexagonal bezel and integrated attachment system speak a clearly contemporary language. This is not a concession to the market: it is a deliberate stylistic choice, built around an architectural coherence you can sense even when you hold the strap in your hands. I have seen very few watches in which form and function speak to each other with this clarity.
