Integrated bracelet

The Urwerk UR-105M UR-105M AlTiN is designed with a bracelet integrated into the case. For a compatible made-to-measure strap, the Casati Milano atelier builds it on your watch.

The UR-105M UR-105M AlTiN, seen from the bench

The UR-105M AlTiN represents avant-garde Swiss watchmaking with a patented satellite mechanism featuring three rotating cubes orbiting the dial. The asymmetrical titanium and steel case features AlTiN treatment (aluminum titanium nitride) in gold color. Custom strap work is available through Atelier Casati Milano for the integrated, non-standard lugs.

Frequently asked questions

Can you fit a standard strap to the Urwerk UR-105M AlTiN?

No. The bracelet is integrated into the case and the lugs are asymmetrical, proprietary. A standard strap will not fit. To have a strap on this watch, I craft one by hand at my Atelier Casati Milano, shaping the attachments directly to the case geometry.

How does the bespoke strap process work for this model?

I work by appointment only at my Atelier Casati Milano. I take measurements and tracings directly from the case, studying how the lugs dialogue with the leather. Each strap is constructed specifically for that particular case — there is no standard template.

Which leather do I recommend for the UR-105M AlTiN?

I favour Mississippi alligator. This watch is sporty and contemporary, and its futuristic geometry deserves a leather that ages with character, developing patina and slight rigidity over time. Alligator offers solidity without weighing down the asymmetry of the case.

How long does a well-made strap last?

With daily wear and minimal care — wipe it with a damp cloth, avoid prolonged direct sunlight — a strap wears beautifully for 8 to 10 years. The leather will change colour, it will gain patina. This is not deterioration; it is history written on the surface.

Why does the UR-105M case have the AlTiN treatment?

Titanium aluminium nitride protects the titanium from oxidation and colours it gold. It is not a fragile coating — it is integrated into the material itself. Urwerk's choice reflects the same principle that guides my craft: every constructive detail has a reason, a function beyond aesthetics.

The next step
