Frequently asked questions

Can you fit a standard strap on the Tudor Pelagos 25407N-0001?

No. The bracelet is integrated directly into the titanium case — there is no traditional lug where a standard strap can be fitted. A standard strap simply won't attach. If you want to change it, I must build one bespoke in the atelier, shaping the lugs directly to your specific case.

How does the bespoke strap work for the Pelagos?

We work by appointment only at Casati Milano, on Via XX Settembre 15. I take measurements directly from your case, design the titanium lugs and build the strap by hand. It's a tailored piece, not an adaptation.

Which leather do you recommend for this watch?

Barenia Naturale. This Pelagos breathes sport and technique, but without harshness — Barenia ages with the same character as titanium, developing a patina that tells the story of its use. It's the choice that lets the watch speak for itself.

How long does a well-made strap last?

That depends on you. Quality leather, cared for occasionally with light conditioning and kept away from constant moisture, easily lasts 8-10 years. The real beauty is that it ages — every scratch, every fold tells how you've worn it.

Why is the titanium on the Pelagos so particular?

Grade 2 titanium is extraordinarily light yet rigid — it won't flex under stress. I've seen watches in this material after 15 years of diving, still geometrically perfect. It's the choice of someone building tools, not compromises.

The next step

The right strap isn't chosen. It is built, together.

From the atelier appointment to delivery, every step is made for those who know that things done well take time. Rare leathers, one piece at a time, eighteen months of warranty.
