The strap is changed using a specific spring bar tool (available separately or in some kits). Insert the tool into the internal spring under each lug, applying light inward pressure to release the spring terminus from the lug. Extract the old strap and insert the new one, aligning it with the spring seats. This is a reversible operation that requires no specialist horological expertise.
