Frequently asked questions

Can you fit a standard strap to the TAG Heuer Link WBC2111.BA0603?

No. The bracelet is integrated into the case: the lugs aren't standard, and a regular strap won't engage. For leather, you need someone who understands this architecture. I build custom straps in the atelier, measured directly on your case.

How does the custom strap work for the Link?

I create it at Casati Milano, by appointment only. I take measurements directly from the case, studying the integrated lugs millimetre by millimetre. The work is hand-made and takes time. Every piece is built specifically for your watch.

Which leather would you recommend for this model?

I prefer Tuscan vegetable-tanned leather. The Link is an elegant sports watch, built to last without becoming stiff: Tuscan leather ages with character, develops patina, and handles daily wear. It suits the case naturally.

How long does a well-made strap last?

With ordinary care, 4–6 years of regular use. Tuscan leather ages rather than deteriorates: it darkens, becomes softer. Keep it away from water and heat, and it lasts even longer. When the time comes, I repair or renew it.

Why does the Link have an integrated bracelet?

It's a deliberate design choice: the 1980s sought aesthetic continuity between case and bracelet. In the Link, the S-links are not an accessory—they're part of the design. This geometric integrity demands a leather strap that doesn't compromise the original proportion.

The next step

The right strap isn't chosen. It is built, together.

From the atelier appointment to delivery, every step is made for those who know that things done well take time. Rare leathers, one piece at a time, eighteen months of warranty.
