The Rolex Daytona 6264 needs 19 mm between the lugs, usually 16 mm at the buckle. It's the size I've been fitting on it for years.
Can the strap on the Rolex Daytona 6264 be changed?
Yes, and easily: the lugs are drilled, so the spring bar is pushed out from the outside with a thin pin, without opening anything. If you prefer, I do it in the workshop.
Can I put a leather strap on the Rolex Daytona 6264?
Yes, in 19 mm leather. On a 37 mm chronograph I like box calf: it holds its shape and carries a substantial case.
