Not in the conventional sense. The bracelet is integrated directly into the case: there are no standard lugs to attach an off-the-shelf strap. The only viable option is to build a strap from scratch, based on the actual geometry of the case, in the atelier.

I work by appointment only, at <a href="/pages/casati-booking">Casati Milano</a>, at Via XX Settembre 15 in Milan. I bring the watch to the bench, take measurements directly from the case attachments, and shape the strap to follow the curve of the rose gold case. There is no template: every piece is built from scratch for that specific watch.

My choice is Mississippi alligator. The natural grain and polished surface complement rose gold without overpowering it. For those who prefer something softer to the touch, antique rose Swift is a sound alternative: its fine texture suits the elegant structure of this watch very well.

With ordinary care — keeping it away from water, letting it breathe between wears — a well-crafted alligator strap lasts between five and eight years. Quality leather does not deteriorate: it develops a patina, moulds to the wrist, and becomes more personal over time. It is one of the few materials that genuinely improves with use.

It was launched in 1999 as Patek Philippe's proposal for a woman who wanted a watch to wear every day, not only on special occasions. The Art Déco lines of the case and the integrated rose gold bracelet place it firmly in the elegant category, but with an everyday character. It is not a watch for the safe: it is made to be worn.
