No. The bracelet is integrated directly into the platinum case: there are no standard lugs to attach a ready-made strap. The attachment is proprietary, designed for that specific geometry. That is precisely why I build each strap to measure, directly on the watch, in the atelier.

I bring the watch to the bench, take measurements directly from the actual case, and shape the attachments by hand, accounting for the weight and density of the platinum. I never work from casts or photographs: the 5004P-033 simply does not allow it.

I would choose Mississippi alligator with a symmetrical scale pattern. The Grand Complications is a formal dress watch of extraordinary mechanical complexity, and it calls for an equally serious and composed leather. Mississippi alligator has a dense structure, ages with dignity, and its visual texture never competes with the platinum case. Extra-souple Barenia is a valid second choice, but I find it better suited to those who want a more lived-in character over time.

With basic care — kept away from water, allowed to breathe between wearings — a well-crafted alligator or Barenia strap lasts easily seven to ten years. Quality leather does not deteriorate: it transforms. It develops patina, takes on the creases of the wrist, becomes unmistakably personal. That ageing process is what separates a genuine leather from a mediocre one.

This watch combines a split-seconds chronograph and a perpetual calendar in a 36.70 mm case — an immense mechanical density within a restrained space. The platinum adds weight and a cold, almost severe light. A strap that does not engage with that integrated geometry disrupts the entire visual and physical balance of the watch. That is why every millimetre of the attachment must be shaped with the actual case in hand, not from a specification sheet.
