No, the bracelet is integrated into the case. The attachment is not a standard industrial lug — you cannot simply clip on a commercial strap. If you want a strap, I build one directly onto the watch, bespoke, at the atelier.

I prefer Mississippi Alligator. This Pershing has a strong, sporty character — it deserves leather that ages with authority, not leather that fades. Alligator keeps its grip, the texture stays alive after years, and it tells the story of wear without losing elegance.

Five to ten years, depending on how much you wear it and how you care for it. Quality leather ages, it doesn't just wear out: it develops a patina that tells time. If you clean it occasionally and don't soak it every day, the material improves. When it finally wears through, I can return to fit it with a new terminal.

Because Michel Parmigiani designed this case as architecture: the tonneau curve, the sculpted flanks, the lugs that flow naturally. It's not casual. It means the strap cannot be a generic solution — it must respect that geometry millimetre by millimetre, or the watch loses the point of what it is.
