The Oris Divers Sixty-Five model 1 features 20mm lugs. This measurement is taken between the internal attachment points of the case. Choice depends on intended use: for regular diving or humid environments, an FKM rubber or NATO strap in certified regenerated yarn offers superior resistance and rapid drying. For daily elegant wear, vegetable-tanned leather develops patina in parallel with the bronze case, creating aesthetic coherence. Alligator represents the compromise between formal elegance and resistance to visible aging.

The strap is secured via two side lugs in the case. Use a spring bar tool (fork-shaped implement with flat ends) to compress the elastic internal pin at each strap terminus. Once the pin is released, the lug slides from its seat. Installation reverses this procedure: align the lug with the seat and press with uniform pressure until the pin clicks into place.
