The lug width is exactly 18 mm. This measurement determines the inner diameter of the strap you can pair with the watch. To verify it, measure the distance between the inner lugs: it must be precisely 18 mm.

For the 324.30.38.50.02.001 we recommend a vegetable-tanned alligator for uncompromising elegance, or a calf leather with natural patina if you prefer a softer and more versatile leather. For sports use, a NATO or technical rubber strap maintains the chronograph character while keeping daily practicality.

Use a spring bar tool to gently lift the small pins that hold the strap to the lugs. Insert the thin tip of the tool into the lug hole, lift until you free the old strap, then insert the new one ensuring it clicks correctly on both sides.

A quality leather strap with vegetable tanning generally lasts 3-4 years with daily use and ordinary maintenance (occasional cleaning, drying after moisture exposure).
