The lug width of this model is 21mm. This dimension allows compatible straps and bracelets of 21mm, essential to ensure precise fit to the watch lugs without play or friction.

For this Seamaster we recommend alligator leather straps in blue or black tones to enhance the 'deep wave' dial, or brown shell cordovan for an elegant contrast. Models with vegetable tanning guarantee natural patina and longevity. For water use, reinforced canvas NATO straps are also suitable.

The strap is replaced by removing the spring bars from the lugs using a dedicated tool (spring bar tool). Position the watch with the strap facing downward, insert the tool to compress the internal spring of the bar, extract the bar, then grasp the strap and repeat for the other end. Installation of the new strap is the reverse procedure.
