You will verify the correct measurement by positioning a ruler on the centre line of the two lugs protruding from the case, from which you will obtain exactly 18mm of separation.

The procedure requires a specific tool: a double-ended spring bar tool. Locate the lugs at the centre of the lug and anti-lug, insert the tool tips into the lateral notches, push gently towards the centre of the case to release the spring tension, and the lug pin will come out manually. Repeat symmetrically on the other side. Insert the new strap by repositioning the lug pin and verifying its perfect adherence.
