The Moritz Grossmann Atum MG-000502 features a 20mm lug width. This measurement represents the distance between the spring bar pins and accommodates aftermarket straps with universal 20mm lugs. To verify correct measurement, use a digital calliper positioned between the outer extension of both pins.

For this timepiece, we recommend alligator straps (French tanning) or vegetable-tanned calf leather, which amplify the sobriety of the brushed steel case. If you prefer daily versatility, a heavy NATO fabric (1.4-1.5mm) or FKM rubber in black ensures structural robustness. Your choice depends on use context: formal occasions require alligator or calf, whilst sport/casual applications require NATO or rubber.

If your watch is fitted with an integrated bracelet, strap replacement with a custom strap requires removal of the bracelet using a specialised tool (torque). Subsequently, universal 20mm lugs are applied to your chosen strap—an operation we recommend performing at a specialist atelier such as Casati Milano to ensure perfect alignment and prevent case damage.
