Strap for Lyre 25 Quartz Stainless Steel

The lug width of the Longines Lyre L4.259.4.12.2 is 13mm, a non-standard measurement requiring specifically designed straps. To verify compatibility, measure the internal distance between the two lugs on the case: it must be exactly 13mm.

For the Longines Lyre, straps in alligator (maximum formal elegance), Italian calf leather with vegetable tanning (versatility and longevity), or shell cordovan (natural softening over time) are recommended. In summer, NATO textile or natural rubber straps offer practicality without aesthetic compromise.

To change the strap, remove the straight pins or deployante clasp from the lugs. Use a spring bar tool to gently push the pin from the opposite side, freeing the old strap. Align the new strap's holes with the pins and reinsert the pin until it clicks into place. We recommend consulting a watchmaker to avoid damage.
