This measurement is precise from the inside of the lug hole to the inside of the opposite lug hole. You measure it by inserting a digital calliper between the two metal pins securing the strap to the case, ensuring an accurate reading.

Once extracted, the old strap releases freely. Insert the new strap, aligning the holes with the pins, and reinsert the spring bar until it clicks firmly into position.
