The Ingenieur IW3808-CM (aka: IW3808CM), seen from the bench

The IWC Ingenieur IW3808-CM is a professional chronograph featuring a stainless steel case measuring 42.3mm in diameter, designed by Gérald Genta in 1976. It houses the IWC caliber 69375 movement with column-wheel chronograph, date function, and small seconds. The 20mm lug width accommodates compatible straps while maintaining visual balance with the case size. Built with Faraday cage protection against magnetic interference up to 80,000 A/m, sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment, and water resistance to 60 meters, this technical instrument represents modern Swiss watchmaking tradition.
