The lug width of the IWC Da Vinci IW3758-03 is 20 mm. This measurement is specific to the reference and determines compatibility with any aftermarket strap. Measurement is conducted using a digital calliper between the two internal bearing points of the lug, perpendicular to the watch plane.

For the Da Vinci IW3758-03 we recommend African alligator in black with white stitching, creating visual hierarchy that respects the complication of the dial. An elegant alternative is calf leather with vegetable tanning, which develops aged amber tones compatible with any aureous appliqués on the dial. Shell cordovan in dark tone offers visual density without compromising legibility of the perpetual calendar function.

The procedure requires a spring bar tool with an pointed tip to compress the internal springs of the lug. Position the point in the discharge hole on the internal side of the lug, compress the spring lightly, lift the strap until the pin exits the engagement hole. Repeat on the opposite lug. Reinsert the new strap ensuring the pin is fully seated in the hole until you hear the safety click.

All straps designed for 20 mm lug width are compatible with the IW3758-03, regardless of material and brand. Always verify that the strap is correctly dimensioned to accommodate the lug without excessive play or forcing.
