Strap for Pavonina Stainless Steel / MOP / Alligator

The lug width is 16 millimetres. This dimension is specific to the Pavonina and reflects the proportional balance between the case thickness (6.5 mm) and the geometry of the lugs. Always measure the lugs internally, positioning a digital calliper between the case terminals, not on the outer surface.

For the rose gold and stainless steel version with mother-of-pearl, we recommend alligator in nutmeg brown or Tuscan calf on vegetable tanning. Alligator enhances natural texture and develops patina over time, creating elegant dialogue with the mother-of-pearl luminosity. Burgundy calf offers sophisticated monochromatic harmony.

The Pavonina uses 16-millimetre lugs. Use a dedicated spring bar tool to release the opening spring on the lugs, remove the old strap and insert the new one. Ensure the lugs are fully seated in the case terminals and that the opening spring clicks properly before wearing the watch.

A vegetable-tanned leather strap typically lasts 3–5 years under daily use, depending on sun exposure and humidity. Alligator is more resistant (5–7 years), calf more vulnerable to environmental factors. The patina that develops is not deterioration, but aesthetic enrichment of the fibre. Rotating straps and storing in dry environments significantly extends longevity.
