We recommend a strap in alligator leather with vegetable tanning (dark brown or tobacco) or shell cordovan in burgundy. These materials create a material dialogue with the warmth of red gold, enhancing the perception of considered luxury without generating stylistic contrast.

Strap replacement requires extraction of the horizontal drum pins connecting the case to the lugs. We recommend using a spring bar tool and a flat surface. Remove the old strap by applying downward pressure to one drum pin, insert the new strap by aligning the lugs, and reinsert the pins gently until they click into place.

Longevity depends on visible wear, wrist perspiration, sun exposure, and humidity. Vegetable-tanned straps develop natural patina over time and can be professionally restored after 3-4 years.
