Frequently asked questions

Can I fit a standard strap on the Casio G-Shock GA-110 GA-110SL-8A?

No, the bracelet is integrated directly into the resin case. A conventional strap has nothing to attach to. That's why I've developed a bespoke technique in the atelier: I build a personalised strap that adapts to the watch's original architecture, respecting its geometry.

How does the bespoke strap work for the GA-110?

We work by appointment only at Casati Milano, via XX Settembre 15 in Milan. I take measurements directly from your case, observe how the integrated bracelet sits, and from there I craft a piece that integrates seamlessly. Nothing off-the-shelf—everything calculated for your watch.

Which leather do I recommend for this model?

Tuscan vegetable-tanned leather. This G-Shock has a sporting, industrial soul, and robust leather—which develops character with age—speaks well to that hardness. You see it transform over the years, just as the watch does.

How long does a well-made strap last?

With daily wear and minimal care—dry it if it gets wet, give it a light wax now and then—it easily lasts five or six years. The leather ages, develops patina, softens. That's not weakness: it's proof it's working for you.

Why is the GA-110's integrated bracelet so different from other G-Shocks?

Kikuo Ibe designed it this way in the '80s to maximise shock resistance. The layered resin forms a monolithic unit with the bracelet—no separate components, no weak points. It's pure engineering. That's why creating a strap for this model requires specific artisanal skill.

The next step

The right strap isn't chosen. It is built, together.

From the atelier appointment to delivery, every step is made for those who know that things done well take time. Rare leathers, one piece at a time, eighteen months of warranty.
