Frequently asked questions

Can you fit a standard strap to the Casio G-Shock GA-110 GA-110GB-1A?

No, the bracelet is integrated directly into the resin case. A standard strap lug won't fit. For this model, I work in the atelier: I craft a bespoke strap, shaped to your case's geometry.

How does the bespoke strap process work for the GA-110?

I work by appointment only at Casati Milano. I take measurements directly from your case, then craft the strap with the technical care needed to interface with Casio's proprietary lug system. It requires millimetre precision.

Which leather do I recommend for the Casio G-Shock GA-110?

I prefer Tuscan leather treated with waterproofing. This watch was built for outdoor and sports use: leather ages beautifully under stress, it breathes, and the treatment shields it from moisture without turning it plastic. For something more tactical, Italian military Cordura is my second choice.

How long does a well-made strap last on a G-Shock?

With good leather and proper care, 8–12 years of real use. Tuscan leather ages elegantly: it darkens, develops patina, but stays intact. In extreme conditions or without care, expect half that. A balm application now and then helps considerably.

Why was the GA-110 designed this way?

The 55mm oversized case stems from Casio's philosophy: maximum resistance to drops and impacts. Engineer Kikuo Ibe wanted a watch that survived real use, not theory alone. The integrated resin lug is part of this shock-absorbing architecture—absorbing impact is its priority, not simple aesthetics.

The next step
