I prefer Tuscan vegetable-tanned leather. With this sporty yet characterful watch, natural leather ages visibly and honestly, developing a patina that tells the story of wear. For something more technical, there's regenerated NATO Premium.

How long does a well-made strap last?

It depends on use and care. Natural leather in daily wear lasts 5-7 years, then begins showing signs of fatigue. With minimal maintenance — occasional conditioning — it lasts longer still. Leather tells time.
