The Serpenti 102128, seen from the bench

The Serpenti represents one of Bulgari's distinctive collections, characterized by the spiral design that recalls the shape of the snake. It is equipped with the Bulgari B033 quartz caliber with hour and minute indication. The case features a wraparound construction that adapts to the wrist through the characteristic serpentine shape.

Frequently asked questions

Can you fit a standard strap on the Bulgari Serpenti 102128?

No, the bracelet is integrated into the case. The lug is not a standard one – it's proprietary, sinuous, part of the sculpture itself. A conventional strap won't find any grip. I craft a bespoke solution in the workshop, directly on your case.

How does the bespoke strap work for the Serpenti?

We work only at Casati Milano, by appointment. I take the watch in hand, study the geometry of the lug, measure the space. From there the sartorial project is born, sewn piece by piece for your wrist.

Which leather do I prefer for the Bulgari Serpenti?

Mississippi alligator dyed in dusty rose. This model breathes sensuality – it doesn't compete with the gold, it speaks to it. Structured, supple alligator leather follows the curve of the case without weighing it down. I watch it age beautifully, deepening in tone over time.

How long does a well-made strap last?

It depends on wear, but a quality leather used regularly holds up for 5-8 years, sometimes longer. What matters is not neglecting it – clean occasionally with a soft brush, protect it from excess moisture. Noble leathers like alligator age with dignity, developing character.

Why does the Serpenti start as a bracelet, not as a watch?

In the 1940s Bulgari conceives it as a wrist jewel first. The movement arrives later, almost hidden within the sculpture. It's the opposite of what we normally do – here form precedes function. That's why a standard strap can't hold the original intention. You need craftsmanship in designing the lug, precisely what we develop in the workshop.

The next step

The right strap isn't chosen. It is built, together.

From the atelier appointment to delivery, every step is made for those who know that things done well take time. Rare leathers, one piece at a time, eighteen months of warranty.
