Strap for Octo Finissimo Automatic Tatsuo Miyajima / Ceramic
Integrated bracelet: measurements, the most common questions, and the way to a made-to-measure strap.
Integrated bracelet
The Bulgari Octo 103563 is designed with a bracelet integrated into the case. For a compatible made-to-measure strap, the Casati Milano atelier builds it on your watch.

Frequently asked questions
Can I fit a standard strap to the Bulgari Octo 103563?
No. The bracelet is integrated directly into the ceramic case — there are no lugs compatible with commercial straps. This is deliberate: the octagonal architecture requires a bespoke solution. In the atelier, I craft the strap by calculating every angle of the case geometry.
How does the bespoke strap process work for the Octo?
We work by appointment only at Casati Milano. I hold the watch in hand, study how the ceramic develops, and measure the attachment points I'll craft. It's precision work: every lug is hand-modelled to your specific case.
Which leather do you recommend for this model?
I choose Mississippi Alligator in matte black. The ceramic is technical, almost mineral — a structured, satin-finished leather speaks to that austerity better than anything else. If you prefer something that ages visibly, hand-patinated Barenia darkens and softens with time: it lives alongside the watch.
How long does a well-made strap last?
It depends on how you treat it. Mississippi Alligator, if you avoid constant direct sunlight and clean it occasionally with a damp cloth, easily handles eight to ten years of daily wear without structural issues. The leather ages — it changes colour, softens — but that's its character. A controlled repair can extend its life by several more years.
Why does the Octo's ceramic require a different approach in the atelier?
Because ceramic isn't steel. It's brittle under impact, doesn't file like metal, and needs lugs that don't concentrate pressure. When I craft the strap, I think about distributing weight across the entire contact surface. That's why I can't improvise: every millimetre matters.
The next step
The right strap isn't chosen. It is built, together.
From the atelier appointment to delivery, every step is made for those who know that things done well take time. Rare leathers, one piece at a time, eighteen months of warranty.
